She has held the title of Energy Sector Head in Environmental Compliance Office and Sustainable Development – Federation of Egyptian Industries since 2005. She is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Distributed Generation Certified Professional (DGCP) with Association of Energy Engineering in Georgia – USA. She is the head of energy sector in ECO SD and carry out and responsible for energy efficiency audits in different industrial sector. She is a Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) ISO 50001 for Energy Management System by TUV Rhineland Germany –Egypt. She carry out Identification and assessment of demonstration projects for key-technologies in the area as the project can be implemented including financing ,she assist the companies to acquire Energy Conscious Designs and highlighting the importance of EE versus cost efficiency through implementation and contribute in Energy Demand Management Program by measure the energy status in the establishment, determine the clear sources of losses, and implement the standards on the most efficient use of energy .Eng. Wafaa is a chemical engineer, Faculty of Engineering in Cairo University and has a professional diploma in the environmental engineering from the American University in Cairo (AUC) and in Energy Conservation management.
